The fire is traditionally among the elements of the sacred church art. A new exhibition at the Andrei Rublev Museum of Old Russian Culture and Art is dedicated to its imagery.
The exposition includes unique icons, unknown and exclusive among them, manuscripts with illustrations, engravings, rare frescoes, and antique books. One of the sections is dedicated to decorative and applied arts from the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Icon Museum, and private collections.
Lectures and creative workshops for children complement the program of the event.
The Lenten Concert scheduled to be held on March 31 deserves special attention. It starts at 3 pm.
