At the end of February, the ethnographic collections of the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore and works by students of the Norilsk Art College will be exhibited in Moscow.
The exhibition will be complemented by materials of various expeditions. The exhibition will tell about the nature of the Taimyr Peninsula, its domestic life, culture, and history. Among the ethnographic finds displayed there will be religious items and ritual masks created in the XIX century and earlier. Visitors to the event will have a chance to step inside a real aboriginal raw-hide tent and feel the atmosphere of living in the tundra. One of the sections of the exhibition is dedicated to folk costumes. Paintings by animal artists will complement the exposition.
