The only mushroom restaurant in Russia will appear in the Ryazan region in 2019.

      Even though Ryazan is not part of the Golden Ring, its geographical location allows it to be integrated into the route through the ancient cities. Especially the guests of the region are interested in the brands of Ryazan, associated with the names of great countrymen: S.Esenin, I.Pavlov, I.Pozhalostin, K.Tsiolkovsky. Also, a number of areas have been developed to attract tourists in the region.

      Gastronomic tourism has good prospects in the region. A menu of Ryazan cuisine is very interesting. There is a saying “Ryazan has mushrooms with eyes”, this year   the only mushroom restaurant in Russia will appear in Ryazan.   Ryazan could be attractive to foreign guests as a center of military tourism as well. The main object could be the Airborne Troops School, where a large-scale reconstruction was carried out, including parachutes and military equipment in museums. Ecological and eventual tourism is developing - this year the Forum of Ancient Cities will be held in Ryazan for the second time.
