All-season Resort

All-season resort "Mamison" in North Ossetia is planned to be launched in 2022.

The Mamison Tourism and Recreation Complex in North Ossetia may receive its first holidaymakers in four years. Investors are ready to start building hotels. The Mamison project will attract a fairly large number of tourists to the republic. In this gorge, in addition to year-round skiing, there are many mineral curative sources that can be used for balneological purposes.

Earlier it was reported that North Ossetia will allocate 120 million rubles for the development of design and documentation for the all-season Mamison mountain-recreational complex and expects to restore the resort’s status as a special economic zone. According to preliminary calculations, the construction of the engineering infrastructure of the first and second phases of the Mamison Recreation Complex will require 7.5 billion rubles.

Funds for the further implementation of the project the authorities of North Ossetia expect to attract from the federal budget within the framework of the special economic zone. The project of the Mamison Recreation Complex was modified in comparison with the original concept: it is planned to create 3.5 thousand beds, ensure the possibility of staying up to 2 thousand "one-day tourists", and construct 35 ski slopes with a total length of 50 km , the longest of which is 8 km. The total area of the first stage of the resort "Mamison" will be 1.3 thousand hectares.
