Michael Flint is an outstanding bio-oceanologist, a member of dozens of expeditions, a researcher of the northern lands and their nature.
During his trips to the Kuril Islands and Lake Baikal, to the islands of Macquarie and Wrangel, Chukotka, the Kola Peninsula and other faraway places, he managed to take lots of unique photographs. Some of them have become part of the exhibition, presently held at the Classic Photography Gallery in Moscow.
Book Russia Expedition - Winter Trans-Siberian Adventure
The exposition includes artworks demonstrating the beauty of the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. The visitors will see about 60 pictures, which capture its wildlife. The exhibition is complemented with the photos of the Aral Sea, the gorges and lakes of Kyrgyzstan, and the panoramas of the Ustyurt Plateau.
The photos display those lands in their pristine image, shrouded in mists or shining in the sunlight, with dazzling turquoise water bodies or gloomy mountains.
