The Lumiere Brothers Photography Centre, Moscow, presents an exhibition of Eric Johansson - the master of surrealistic landscape. Eric Johansson is a Swedish photographer, known for his surrealistic landscapes. In each of his works fragments of several frames are combined, giving birth to an amazing fantasy world.
Since childhood, he was fond of art and drawing. His main inspirations were Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali. The connection with these artists is vividly felt in the master's works: creating his own surreal world, he achieves impressive literalism.
Eric Johansson always starts his work on the next composition with a sketch. It is followed with the stage of finding places and details that may become elements of the future photo. The found objects are photographed in order to be subsequently processed in a graphic editor.
