Treasures of ancient civilizations, the evidence of their culture and life can be seen at the Red October Gallery. The exhibition tells about the values and lifestyle of the indigenous peoples of America for 35 centuries.
The visitors to the exhibition "Eldorado. Treasures of the American Indians" will recall both the mysterious vanished Olmecs and the Kwakiutl people that still exist today. The exposition will include gold items of the Incas.
Special attention is deserved by sacred shaman images, the crown of King Lambayeke, the Aztec knife used for rituals, and the ancestral totem of the Indians brought from Vancouver. It is made of cedar and weighs about one and a half tons. The totem was created by the Kwakiutl leader Kelvin Hunt.
