This year the festival will feature over fifty films already screened at shows in Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Amsterdam.
In Russia, the vast majority of the films will be demonstrated for the first time. The contest program of the Doker Festival includes 12 full-length films and 14 short films.
In addition to the main program, there are also particular topical units. These include Let IT Dok! about modern information technologies, DOKer Kids for family watching and DOC Therapy with psychological films.
The festival will be opened with the premiere of the grand German documentary “Russia from the Sky” filmed by a team of the world’s best air cameramen. Alexey Vakhrushev’s documentary animation “The Book of the Sea” about the sea hunters of the Far North will close the program.
