Exhibition The Appearance of the Hero. In Search of Mikhail Bulgakov

The Mikhail Bulgakov Museum and the ENEA present an exhibition about the writer's life and the creation of his iconic books.

In the second section “I am not a Hero, Unfortunately” there are manuscripts, documents and letters of Mikhail Bulgakov telling about the birth of his iconic characters. The third part - "Extracting the Master" - includes Bulgakov's personal belongings. Here you can see his portrait, composed of dozens of photographs and fragments of his contemporaries’ memoirs.
