The Mikhail Bulgakov Museum and the ENEA present an exhibition about the writer's life and the creation of his iconic books.
The exhibition includes items from more than 10 Moscow and St. Petersburg museums and archives. These materials help to understand the nature of the Bulgakov literary image.
The exposition consists of several parts. The first one - “Follow Me, My Reader!” – will plunge you into the incredible world of Bulgakov's texts. In the second section “I am not a Hero, Unfortunately” there are manuscripts, documents and letters of Mikhail Bulgakov telling about the birth of his iconic characters. The third part - "Extracting the Master" - includes Bulgakov's personal belongings. Here you can see his portrait, composed of dozens of photographs and fragments of his contemporaries’ memoirs.
