Facades of More than 250 Houses in the Historic Centre of St. Petersburg will be Restored

It is planned to restore the facades of more than 250 houses in the historic centre of St. Petersburg by 2030.

      The authorities of St. Petersburg have developed a project for the restoration of the facades of apartment buildings - cultural heritage objects, as calculated until the end of 2029. Houses that got into the restoration program of Committee for State Control, Utilization and Protection of Historical and Cultural Landmarks will have their architectural decorations restored.

      It is planned to allocate 16.2 billion roubles for restoration works and 820 million roubles for the development of design and estimate documentation. During this period, it is planned to carry out works at 255 objects.

      There are more than 22 thousand apartment buildings in St. Petersburg, almost 1.9 thousand of them are architectural monuments.
