Foreign tourists will be able to organize a wedding in St. Petersburg online. Since April, the official city tourist web portal of St. Petersburg (Visit-Petersburg.ru) has launched online counseling services on the issues of marriage in the city, as the press service of the city tourism development committee said.

      The new service will enable the visitors of web site from around the world to learn about the list of necessary documents, their place in the queue for marriage registration, get all the necessary information about organizing a wedding in St. Petersburg. According to the committee’s information, a wedding ceremony can be officially registered at the Wedding Palace at the address: 28 English Embankment (Angliyskaya Embankment).

      According to the Committee for Civil Registry Office Affairs, about 750 foreign marriages are registered in St. Petersburg annually.
