Moscow is currently hosting one of the largest festivals in the sphere of Russian and foreign cinema.
This year the jury of the Moscow International Film Festival is headed by Korean film director Kim Ki Duk. The best works will traditionally receive valuable prizes – St. George statuettes.
As usual, the festival consists of several rounds. The public and the Committee will watch documentary and feature, domestic and foreign, short and full-length films. There will be non-competitive and retrospective screenings as well. Russia is represented with the films by P. Kostomarov, L. Borisova and S. Proskurina.
The screenings dedicated to the films of Turkey, Hungary, and Italy are part of the program.
The main competition of the festival includes films of German, Latvian, French, Iranian, Finnish, and Italian production, etc.
