“Astamanyana” (“Hasta Mañana”) coffee shop will open in St. Petersburg in April: the public catering establishment will use the services of artificial intelligence and Microsoft Azure machine learning.
Technologies will allow to customize the service and optimize the work of the establishment. Thus, AI will analyze the emotions of visitors and offer them drinks, based on the results of the analysis. The system recognizes a series of emotions (joy, sadness, weariness, surprise, and others) and, depending on the emotion, gives the barista several options to choose from and, following them, offer a drink to a visitor.
For example, if a person looks tired, he/she can be offered a double espresso for freshness, and if he/she looks happy, the offer will be an orange RAF to make the good mood last longer.
