The Katun Biosphere Reserve is famous for the primeval beauty of its virgin wildlife.
Located in the Altai mountains, it harbours numerous mountain streams, cliffs with glaciers, pristine lakes, picturesque waterfalls and meadows with thick, lush grass. It is the habitation of rare animals and plants.
The exhibition includes works by photographer V.V. Gorbatovsky, who often participated in expeditions to Gorny Altai and thus managed to capture its pristine beauty.
Visitors to the exhibition will see 40 photographs of turquoise water reservoirs, incomprehensible Belukha Mountain, mighty river streams, massive rocks, and the springhead of the Katun River.
The exhibition will be complemented with the demonstration of films about the Katun Reserve and master classes.
