The number of offers on the sale of businesses increased by 33% in the first quarter of 2019, as compared with the same period of last year.
The demand for ready-made businesses grew by 15%. The majority of the offers (32%) are made in the service sector; trade companies (23%) and public catering enterprises (17%) also sold quite often. The average price of the ready-made businesses fell by 14%, as compared with last year: down to 3.05 million roubles.
The most expensive enterprises can still be found in the sphere of agriculture: their average price increased by 10% over the year, amounting to 11.96 million roubles. The second line in terms of price is taken by the companies in the production field; their average cost is 6.95 million roubles. The figure fell by 23% over the year. Online stores demonstrated the sharpest decline among ready-made businesses: their cost fell by 52%, reaching an average price of 385,000 roubles. Experts believe that this is an indicator of the sector’s oversaturation.
