Founded in 2009, the Gogol House is a relatively new museum.
Since its foundation, the museum collections have been amplified and complemented. Today its funds boast the abundance of rare and valuable things. At the new exhibition, all comers can see them.
The exhibition includes rare books, paintings, arts and crafts, and graphic artworks by S. Zverev, K. Savitsky, V. Makovsky, and others. The collection of the Gogol-Yanovsky family deserves special attention. In particular, the medallion, which belonged to Nikolai Gogol himself, is displayed here.
Altogether 210 relics are demonstrated at the exhibition. Hence its name.
