Kirill Kozin is a contemporary Russian collector, a connoisseur of antiques, numismatics, and award systems.
His collection of Chinese porcelain deserves special attention. The collection under the title White Gold of Chinese Emperors is displayed in the State Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow.
The exhibition includes about 150 artworks created during the periods of the Sunn, Min, Yuan, Tan and others.
The collection was started by Kirill Kozin’s grandfather, who worked in the Middle Kingdom in the 1940s-1950s. A significant contribution to the collection was made by Kirill's parents, who worked in diplomatic missions of several countries.
The displayed porcelain was purchased at various auctions from all over the world. A significant part of the collection consists of items from the Kangxi period. Kirill Kozin is most of all interested in the subjects of the Ming dynasty.
