Sergey Lazarev Wins the 3rd Prize at Eurovision Song Contest

Sergey Lazarev representing Russia at the international Eurovision Song Contest 2019 has come in a good third.

      The Russian singer scored 369 points as a result of the jury and audience voting.


      The 1st prize winner is Duncan Lawrence with the song Arcade from the Netherlands. The 2nd prize goes to Mahmood with the song Soldi from Italy.


      According to information on the Eurovision Tracker website, the song Scream has already entered the iTunes charts in 11 European countries. In addition, the video featuring Sergei Lazarev’s performance in the Eurovision semi-final leads in the number of views on the YouTube channel. In two days, the video was viewed more than 4.2 million times.


      “There was no rest from the semi-final at all, so I’m barely able to speak now. The fact that I did sing these notes today is a kind of miracle. I’m contended, I’m happy that I have not lowered the results. I have kept it. I have not failed Russia, so all is well,” - Sergey Lazarev concluded.
