Pulkovo will open the duty paid zone in the internal departures hall. “Air Gateway of the Northern Capital” LLC managing the St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport is investing about 60 million roubles in modernization of the commercial zone of the internal departure hall, as the managing company’s press service reports. The project includes the renewal of the concept of retail outlets and the creation of a new store of duty paid format through which passengers will be sent to the gates.

      Thanks to this innovation, passengers will save time by buying things along the way from the check-in points to the gates. A major foreign duty-free shop operator, Dufry, will be the operator of the duty paid zone in Pulkovo. It is planned to implement the project in two stages. The first part of the store will open in June 2019, the second - in September 2019.
