A museum of landscape art will open in Peterhof within the premises of the former restaurant.
The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve plans to restore the greenhouses in the Lower Park by 2022 and open a new museum of landscape art there.
The building was used as a restaurant, but the lease agreement is now over, and it was not renewed. Thus, in the Lower Park there will be only one restaurant - “Standart” - and small trading establishments. A large-scale restoration of Monplaisir is also planned. It will take two years and affect the roof, the foundation, everything. During this time the exhibits will be moved to the Moscow Tsaritsyno for exhibition.
