Mountain Resort "Rosa Khutor" Opens the Beach Season

The equipped beach of the year-round mountain resort "Rosa Khutor", which has been awarded the international award of the Blue Flag, will start operating on June 1 in the Imereti Bay on the Black Sea coast.

      This  equipped beach of Rosa Khutor resort has again received an environmental quality certificate - the Blue Flag. The beach  guarantees free access for tourists (services may be charged), clean water and sand, rescue and observation services, emergency room, lounge chairs, showers, and no motorized transport.

      The Blue Flag is a special award from the International Federation for Environmental Education (FEE) for beaches   that meet the highest requirements since 1987. Compliance with the Blue Flag criteria requires adherence to strict water quality, safety and environmental awareness standards. It can be obtained only for the current season and then this right must be confirmed annually.

      During the summer season, tourists living in hotels of the resort can always get to the Black Sea beach from Rosa Khutor by regular free buses. At their service are comfortable sun beds, umbrellas and shadow aerarias, individual tents, towels, and changing rooms.   For lovers of diving, special pontoons are equipped, it is planned to open a floating water park.

      The Black Sea beach "Rosa Khutor" will be open until September 30.
