Over 7 Million People Expected to See the Treasures of Russian Museums

The Russian Culture Minister, Vladimir Medinsky, believes that The Treasures of Russian Museums exhibition will be very popular in the regions of Russia.


      
Last year, the exhibition "The Treasures of Russian Museums" was held in the Manege central exhibition hall, Moscow, from November 4 to 25. 

      
“We decided to modernize this exhibition, break it into parts and hold it all over this country to demonstrate the unshakeable cohesion of the cultural space of our Motherland. We believe that over 7 million people will visit it,”- Vladimir Medinsky said.

      
The exhibition will be launched in Kaliningrad, and then proceed in Omsk, Voronezh, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan, Perm, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Visitors will see paintings by Ivan Kramskoi, Isaac Levitan, Fyodor Rokotov, Ilya Repin, Valentin Serov, Ivan Aivazovsky, and Arkhip Kuindzhi.
