“Osetinskiye Pirogi” (“Ossetian Pies”) trademark will be registered in order to avoid fakes, according to the Head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov.

      “Our pies are not inferior in taste to Italian pizza or dishes from other national cuisines. We will promote them both at the Russian and international levels”, as the Head of North Ossetia assured.

      He recalled that the republic had already registered the “Osetinsky Syr” (“Ossetian Cheese”) brand.
