A Japanese Garden has been Created in the Plescheevo Ozero National Park

A Japanese garden has been created in the Plescheevo Ozero National Park. The first ethnocultural landscape exposition has opened in the dendrological garden of the National Park. The exposition has been designed in the style of Japanese tea gardens. It has four main decorative periods corresponding to the seasons of the year.

The Japanese garden in the National Park appeared on the basis of the “Japan. China” geographical department that was founded in the 1980s. The landscape exposition has been created over the last five years. It includes various cherry trees, Osakazuki maple, Siberian iris, mountain pine, arborvitae; shrubs: spindle wood, Potentilla davurica, rhododendron, Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews and others. In order to imitate water along a dry stream, where the Yatsuhashi bridge passes, irises have been planted. After the garden has appeared in the national park, the excursion route will also be created, besides, thematic workshops will be held regularly.
