The People's Artist of Russia Valentin Klementiev is in charge of the historical drama project.

By the end of 2019, the Gorky Moscow Art Theater will have staged a performance about the last days of the family of Emperor Nicholas II, who were shot down on the night of July 17, 1918 in the house of
engineer Ipatiev in Yekaterinburg.

It was reported about by the theater’s art director Edward Boyakov at the press conference on Friday.

“This means working on historical documents and the book that was published by Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov. “The Crown Regiment” is a book of poems dedicated to the royal family. This is not just a drama about a murder, but a story about the character of these people, about their incredible daughters who deeply loved their parents,” – he pointed out.
