Russian IT market grew by 17% in 2018, as compared with 2017, reaching a volume of 1.5 trillion roubles. Experts explain the significant growth by the fact that Russian business has engaged in digitization of its infrastructure, purchase of software and its integration.
The leading sectors of digitalization are considered retail and financial sectors. According to experts, business is most interested in individual products, not in ready-made solutions: individual solutions allow to speed up the launch of new functions on the market.
According to the annual rating of CNews Analytics, last year the revenue of the 100 largest Russian IT companies also grew by 11.2% - up to 1.3 trillion roubles. 64% of total revenues were earned by the ten largest companies, including the National Computer Corporation, Lanit, Epam, Softline, 1C, Kaspersky Lab, and others.
