The long-awaited exhibition presents masterpieces by Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse and other famous artists from the legendary collection of Michael and Ivan Morozovs.
The General Staff of the Hermitage Museum is displaying more than 100 artworks from the Hermitage collection and about 30 paintings from the State Museum of Fine Arts collected by the famous Morozov Brothers.
Visitors will see two portraits of Jeanne Samarie by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, The Garden Nook in Montgeron and The Pond in Montgeron by Claude Monet, the triptych At the Mediterranean by Pierre Bonnard, Portrait of Ambroise Vollard, The Girl on the Ball and Wandering Gymnasts by Pablo Picasso, The Red Room by Henri Matisse, and other masterpieces.
A separate hall is dedicated to the paintings by Paul Cezanne.
The exhibition project includes workshops, lectures, and an intellectual marathon.
