Places for recreation near the water have been opened in 17 parks of Moscow: in Gorky Park, Sokolniki, Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve and others.

The areas for recreation near the water have been equipped in 17 parks of the capital. You can sunbathe on the banks of the waters reservoirs in Gorky Park, Sokolniki, Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, Kuzminki and other green areas. However, you are allowed to swim only in three parks. A sandy beach is equipped on the banks of the Moscow River in “Fili” park. Free sun loungers and two pontoon pools are installed there for visitors. Water is taken from the river and is purified through filters.

Summer pools are also opened in Sokolniki. Swimming in both parks is available for fees only. You can swim for free in “Levoberezhny” park and on the bank of the Khimkinskoye water reservoir.
