Exhibition "The Past in the Present" in Kuskovo Estate
29.06.2019 15:50
Exhibition

“The Past in the Present” is an exhibition timed to the centenary of the Kuskovo Museum Estate, Moscow.

Count S. Sheremetev was the last owner of the estate. Later on, the estate was nationalized and taken under state protection as a monument of antiquity and art. As a result, in 1919 a museum was opened in its building. This approach has saved the building from destruction and ruin.

The new exhibition will tell about a different perception of the historical estate. Visitors will see with photographs and paintings of the estate, samples of decorative and applied art, graphic artworks, and engravings.

A multimedia theme program is planned as well.

Where: the Museum-Estate "Kuskovo" at the address 2, Yunosti Street, next to Novogireevo metro station, Moscow.
