Russia and the Maldives are planning to switch to a visa-free regime.

      The government has approved a draft agreement on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for the citizens of the Russian Federation and the Maldives.

      According to the decree published on the official web portal of legal information, the Russian Foreign Ministry is invited to sign the agreement on behalf of the Russian government upon reaching agreements with the Republic of Maldives.
