Klin and Solnechnogorsk will become a part of the interregional tourist route by 2020. The government of Moscow Oblast has signed an agreement on the development of the “Gosudareva Doroga” (“Tsar’s Road”) tourist route which will unite Moscow, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod and Leningrad regions.
It is noted that points of attraction for tourists in Solnechnogorsk will be the museum and exhibition centre, the “Shakhmatovo” Museum-Reserve of Blok and Mendeleev, as well as Lake Senezh.
Klin will attract people with the Tchaikovsky House-Museum, the Tchaikovsky International Arts Festival, as well as the “Klinskoe Podvorye” exhibition complex and “Demyanovo” estate.
According to the data of the Tourism Committee of Moscow Oblast, it is planned to create the tourist route by 2020.
