The Moscow government is planning to double the length of the metro lines until the end of 2027.
By the end of 2027, it is planned to construct the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya and Biryulevskaya metro lines, as well as to extend the Kommunarskaya branch to Troitsk.
By the end of 2023, it is planned to complete the construction of the Big Ring Metro Line, Kommunarskaya Line up to “Stolbovo” in the New Moscow city district, as well as extend the Blue Line to the Golyanovo District and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line to Vnukovo. In addition, the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovsky radius will be extended to the Severny settlement.
By the end of 2027, it is planned to finish the construction of the Biryulevskaya line, beginning from “Shelepikha” of Rublevo-Arkhangalskaya line: it will start from the “ZIL” territory and reach “Shcherbinka”.
During this time, it is planned to extend the Komunarskaya branch to Troitsk.
