The exhibition of paintings by Fyodor Zakharov in the New Tretyakov Gallery is dedicated to the 100th anniversary since his birth.
Fyodor Zakharov was a prominent representative of European and Russian impressionism, the successor of its traditions. The artist is a recognized master of still lifes and landscapes.
The main theme of many works by Fyodor Zakharov is the beauty of the Crimean expanses. The architecture of Sevastopol, the mountains and houses of Bakhchisarai, the vastness of Gurzuf, the storms of the Black Sea - all this and much more can be seen in his paintings.
The exhibition, located in Hall 38 of the New Tretyakov Gallery, includes more than 30 works of the painter. They were created in the 1950-1980s.
