Tours to Vostochny Cosmodrome

Tourists from Siberia and Primorye will arrive in the Amur region to watch a  rocket launch  from the Vostochny cosmodrome.

      Residents of Siberia and Primorye entered the tourist group that will be able to see the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b launch  from the Vostochny cosmodrome on July 5, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Amur Region reports.

      The observation deck is equipped in the area of the station "Promyshlennaya" and located about 4 km from the launch pad. It is noted that there are a lot of applications from those who want to watch the launch from the Amur cosmodrome, but not everyone submits them in due time. Approval of a visit to a secure facility takes time and documents must be submitted at least one month before the event.

      "This year we will take 25 people. Tourists will come from Irkutsk and Vladivostok. Also, the group included local residents. In addition to visiting the main facilities of the cosmodrome, we will conduct a tour and tell about the history of the Amur Region", managers of the Far Eastern tourist center "Amur" comment.

      Tourists also actively attend inter-launch programs to find out about the work of the technical complex.
