The number of advertisements for the sale of ready-made businesses on the Avito website increased immediately by 27% in April-June 2019, as compared with the same period last year, according to RBC. The number of requests for purchasing businesses increased by only 6% in the same period. The growth in demand was observed in 15 cities out of 23, and was the most noticeable in places where business prices are low.
Against the background of growing numbers of people wishing to sell their businesses, the prices are falling. The price has decreased by 8% during the year; now the average cost of a ready-made business makes up 3.05 million roubles. In some regions, the fall in prices was many times greater than the average Russian level: in particular, in Tyumen and St. Petersburg, the ready-made businesses grew cheaper by 25%. Nevertheless, in some cities the price of businesses has risen significantly: for example, in Voronezh (37%) and Tolyatti (35%). If we talk about business segments, online stores has grown cheaper most of all - by 39% at once. Public catering establishments have become cheaper by 11%, and manufacturing companies - by 6%.
