Pskov Monuments  have been Included into the UNESCO World Heritage List

Pskov monuments of history and architecture have been included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. This decision was made at the 43rd session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Baku (Azerbaijan).

      Following the agenda of the session, the list includes ten churches of the Pskov School of Architecture: “Cathedral of St. John the Baptist of the Ivanovsky Monastery”, “Ensemble of the Spaso-Mirozhsky Monastery: Transfiguration Cathedral”, “Ensemble of the Snetogorsky Monastery: the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary”, “The Church of St. Michael the Archangel with a Bell Tower” , “The Church of the Intercession of Prolom”, “The Church of Kosma and Damian from Primostye, the Remains of the Bell Tower, Gates and Fence”, “The Church of St. George from Vvoz”, “The Church of the Epiphany with a Belfry”, “The Church of St. Nicholas from Usokha” and “The Church of St. Basil on the Hill”.
