The express delivery service Dostavista has raised $ 15 million from a group of investors: funds Vostok New Ventures, Flashpoint and AddVenture. Terms of the transaction and company valuation is not disclosed.
Dostavista plans to invest the raised funds in platform improvement, aggressive marketing and sales, as well as in strengthening teams and experiments. According to the founder of the company, Mikhail Alexandrovsky, Dostavista conducts "several tens of significant product experiments per month." “For example, we are experimenting with different modes of operation for couriers. There is a mode where the courier creates a route for himself, and there is a mode where our robot makes a route for him,” he says.
The Dostavista express delivery service connects couriers and customers, and also allows tracking the delivery. Now the company employs about 400 people, Dostavista has offices in 11 countries. In particular, the service operates under local brands in Brazil, India, Vietnam, South Korea and other foreign countries.
