The construction of the first plants has started at the “Syrnaya Dolina” (“Cheese Valley”) agricultural park in Dmitrovsky district of Moscow Oblast. The construction was launched by the Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrei Vorobyov.
“There was, in fact, an abandoned wasteland, here in the Dmitrovsky district some time ago... I have high hopes that we will see modern cheese production here in one and a half or two years. We have a large number of applications from companies that want to place their production here”, as the agency quoted his words.
The construction of the infrastructure in the agricultural park has already been completed by now. It is scheduled to launch production process in 2020. “Ecofarming” LLC, “Syrovar” LLC, “SavenciaFromage & DairyRussia”, as well as “Kurshavelskaya Syrovarnya” LLC have already become the residents of the agricultural park. According to the plans, the enterprises will reach the estimated capacity and produce about 20 thousand tons of cheese per year.
