Russians think that a good salary and timely fulfillment of obligations by the employer are main criteria for choosing a job. This is evidenced by the survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VTsIOM). The survey participants expressed the opinion that there were other equally important things: observance of safety standards during the work process organization, a comfortable psychological climate, as well as an opportunity to implement their skills, suitable working conditions and a convenient schedule. They gave each of these criteria more than 4 points out of 5.
The majority of all citizens are attracted by state-owned companies. The top three included Gazprom (40% of respondents want to work there), Russian Railways (23%) and Rosneft (18%). They are followed by Sberbank (14%), as well as Lukoil and Aeroflot (12% each). Less often the respondents chose the mobile service providers: MTS (3%) and Beeline (2%).
