An unusual and even mystical exhibition runs at the Yermolova House-Museum, a branch of the Bakhrushin Museum from August 3 to September 8, 2019.
The sculpture exhibition MONSTERIO presents works by the outstanding artist Oleg Abazov. The author of a new trend in monumental art, Art Mysticism, he weaves unusual creative ideas into a standard interior. The master embodies fantasy and demonic images in a mechanized form, so that the sculptures move and talk.
The collection contains 28 exhibits created by the sculptor in different years of his art career. Visitors will see both dynamic works: The Wheel of the Revolution, Kolobkiada, Yukio Mishima, and classical ones. Among the latter there is a copy of the sculptural portrait of the famous choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky.
