Russian Railways launches its own corporate accelerator designed for high-tech startups, Rubase reports. The company’s partner in the project will be the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF), and its experts will help participants substantiate the cost-effectiveness of technologies for Russian Railways.
Application period will last until November 25. Russian Railways is interested in technologies that will improve the infrastructure of the railway, traffic control and rolling stock, as well as energy, environmental and IT startups.
The acceleration program will last until the end of the year; based on its results, participants will be able to present their projects to top managers of the corporation, as well as its partners and customers. Winners of startups will receive permits required for “conducting tests at the experimental test sites of Russian Railways.”
