Moscow Museums will Work for Free on September 7 and 8, 2019

On City Day, September 7 and 8, 80 museums subordinate to the Department of Culture of Moscow will traditionally work for free, the website of the Moscow City Hall  reports.

      Festive events, concerts and exhibitions will be held at 80 venues. The special program for the 872th anniversary of Moscow includes walking tours, performances, lectures and master classes.

      A complete list of museums that will operate for free this weekend is available at mos.ru.

      At the same time, the capital’s museums operate free of charge not only on holidays, but also on a certain schedule as part of the Moscow Museum Week project. The next such week will be held from September 9 to 15. Celebrations in honor of the 872th anniversary of Moscow will be held on September 7 and 8.
