The amount of investment in fixed assets in Moscow has grown by 19.5% during the first 6 months of 2019 and amounted to 946 billion roubles. According to Moscow Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, Vladimir Efimov, the capital currently accounts for 14% of the total Russian investment in fixed assets and about half of the country's foreign direct investments.
During the first quarter of 2019, the volume of investment in fixed capital in Moscow amounted to 403.303 billion roubles: this is 125.8%, as compared to the corresponding period of 2018. The total volume of investments in fixed assets of Moscow over the past year amounted to 2.4 trillion roubles. The amount for the first half-year made up 766.4 billion roubles, and from January to September - 1.3 trillion roubles.
