A special economic zone (SEZ) will be created at the “Mamison” ski resort in North Ossetia.
A plan for creating the resort’s infrastructure has already been developed; in accordance with it, the total cost of infrastructure facilities makes up 4.5 billion roubles.
It was previously reported that in 2019 North Ossetia would spend 120 million roubles on the development of design estimates for the “Mamison” all-weather mountain-recreation complex and expected to restore the resort’s status of a special economic zone.
According to preliminary calculations, the construction of the engineering infrastructure of the first and second stages of the “Mamison” complex will require 7.5 billion roubles. The authorities of North Ossetia are planning to attract funds for the implementation of the project from the federal budget within the framework of the special economic zone being recreated.
