The Russian NtechLab company will take part in a pilot project on testing face recognition technology before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, as TASS reports. Now the Russian company is negotiating the use of their technology with Qatar and FIFA.
NtechLab has already had experience of working at World Cups: during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, about 500 surveillance cameras were connected to the FindFaceSecurity system developed by the company. As the company's CEO Aleksandr Minin notes, the security support project in Qatar will be more large-scale.
