Over a hundred book illustrators from Russia and other countries will present their works at the festival “Mors” in Moscow.

      A large-scale graphic art exhibition, a book fair, lectures, meetings with artists and publishers, master classes for authors, and what not – all of it you will find here.

      The main venue of the festival will be the art complex Khlebozavod (Bakery Plant), but it will be accompanied with exhibitions of famous artists from Russia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany and China in the Flacon and ARTPLAY centers, as well as in several Moscow libraries and popular art cafes. The Library of Arts will display designer works, collages and drawings by the famous Russian film director Sergei Parajanov, who was also a talented artist and sculptor. The prints of the master’s artworks will be provided by the Parajanov Museum in Yerevan.

      The book fair will offer illustrated editions of all sorts of genres: educational literature, fairy tales for children, comic strips, art albums, etc. As part of the festival, the finals of the illustrators contest will be held.
