On October 17, 2019 Fashion House Humariff and its founder and designer Tamam Humariff are going to present their collection “Couture” in the heart of Moscow, in the historic building of The Central Exhibition Hall “Manege”.
Spring/Summer 2020 collection titled “Mirage” brings back the style of the 80s into haute couture designs.
As always, the designer dedicated her collection to women who put trust into their own perceptions, who are not afraid of brilliance, luxury, and good taste, who don’t conform their individual style to different clichés that are dictated by the market and ultra-fashionable brands, and to those who are not afraid to be themselves, who want to lead and not to be led.
These days the world of fashion is plunged into denial of feminine in clothing, there is a shift towards unisex and boho-chic styles. The designer considers this process a degradation of fashion industry that can lead to extinction of the concept of art in the fashion world. This shift will lead to the replacement of works of art with the things we call “casual”, the price of which equals couture wear.
The brand stays true to its philosophy even in times of world crisis, having created collection with the use of silk, taffeta, velvet, organza, tulle, lots of draping, inlaid with crystals, hand and machine embroidery - all the things that can be called integral parts of couture.
