The Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation has developed amendments to the second reading of the bill on the return of smoking rooms to airports.
The agency insists that the number of such rooms should be limited to two. They should also be located in isolated rooms with opaque walls and equipped with ventilation systems. According to the bill, rooms should be located in places as far as possible from security checkpoints, roads to the gates and exits from the airport.
At the same time, the author of the bill on the return of smoking rooms to airports, Sergei Boyarsky, believes that the proposal of the Russian government to limit the number of smoking rooms at airports is a matter of argument. The bill on the return of the smoking rooms has already been adopted in the first reading.
