VR Exhibitions of Goncharova, Malevich, Shishkin and Edward Munch

The State Tretyakov Gallery has launched unusual interactive VR-projects featuring world famous artists. Here you can not only see the works by renowned Natalia Goncharova and Kazimir Malevich, Ivan Shishkin and Edward Munch, but also try and paint on-screen copies of their masterpieces.

      With special glasses you are transferred to the artists’ studios, where by means of a joystick you can virtually control objects. Here you can change the color, scale, and shape of objects, and then enter your painting. Neural networks will take care of the final touches and the very effect of painting on your VR picture. Every visitor to the exhibition has three attempts to create their own masterpiece. You can save your best painting and post it on your social network page.

Where: These VR projects are located in two different buildings of the Tretyakov Gallery.

      Addresses: 10, Krymsky Val Street, Moscow;

      10, Lavrushinsky Lane, Moscow.

      When: from June 5, 2018 to December 20, 2019.

      Open hours: from 10 am to 6 pm on Tue, Wed, and Sun;
