A solemn opening ceremony of the Paustovsky Trail - cultural and recreational route – was held in the village of Solotcha, Ryazan Oblast.
The Paustovsky Trail project is being implemented at the initiative of the Ryazan Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society. They have developed a total of five options for tourist routes of various complexity and length - from 6.3 km to 32 km. All directions are marked and equipped with information stands. Meshchera held a special place in the creative work of Konstantin Paustovsky. From 1930 to 1954 he regularly lived in Solotcha.
Walks in the surroundings brought inspiration to Konstantin Georgievich. The works of the famous “Meshchersky Cycle” have been written here. If you start from the “Forest Bunker” Hotel in Solotcha, you can walk to Chernoye Lake. You can see several places mentioned in the works of Paustovsky.
